HIS and UKHSA have re-developed and updated the HIS/UKHSA Foundation Course in IPC course material and formatted it for launch on the new HIS eLearning platform. This has been a significant undertaking and has taken a great deal of time for both the HIS education team and the experts delivering the content. However, the revised content, new platform, and additional features mean that the course has significantly improved.
The course is suitable for medical trainees in infection-related specialties, newly appointed consultants and other practitioners such as nurses and clinical scientists to gain a firm grounding in infection prevention and control.
The new format course launched in early October 2023 and the next one is being scheduled for March 2024. If you would like to register your interest to attend the new, CPD approved, HIS/UKHSA Foundation Course in IPC, please complete this form
