Tuberculosis (TB) remains a leading infectious cause of illness and death worldwide. Global progress in TB control since the 1990s has been jeopardised in the last two years by the additional pressures presented by the Covid-19 pandemic. It is essential that healthcare communities worldwide regain focus and rebuild momentum in our collective efforts to tackle TB. The symposium programme features prominent speakers on a diverse range of topics including medical history, epidemiology, laboratory and data science, and clinical medicine from the perspective of doctors, nurses, and patients.
