Fiona Roche qualified as an RGN in 1989, going on to work in theatres from 1990 to 2013, starting in Day Surgery then moving to the main Department in 1995. Fiona specialised in Emergencies and Vascular Surgery but has some experience in all specialities. From 2001 to 2012 she was a Team Leader for vascular and Emergencies before moving to Sterile Services on a secondment to lead projects on tray rationalisation and e-rostering. In May 2014, Fiona was appointed to a permanent role as Technical Manager with a remit to manage surgical instrumentation, and oversee the management of machinery and software specific to Sterile Services. Fiona was a key member of the Management Team for the Department shutdown in 2015 and is currently leading on re-equipping the Nottingham Treatment Centre after the Trust won the contract to run services previously run by a private provider. |
