Atiya Kamal is a Health Psychologist and Senior Lecturer at Birmingham City University. Atiya is part of the Kampala-Cambridge Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Control partnership which involves incorporating behavioural science to the development of workshops designed to promote AMS. Atiya was recently involved in developing guidance on encouraging hand hygiene in the community as part of the British Psychological Society’s Behavioural Science Disease and Prevention Taskforce.
