Pauline Jumaa joined Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in 2017 as Consultant Microbiologist and Director of Infection Prevention and Control. She has over 20 years’ experience as a Consultant Microbiologist, including experience in Europe and the Middle East. She is a member of the International Editorial Board of the Journal of Hospital Infection, chairs a joint working party of the British Burn Association and Healthcare Infection Society and is a lead examiner for the Royal College of Pathologists.
