NHSE IPC Education Framework level: This course aligns to Advanced level on the framework
The media training workshop will equip IPC specialists to get their message across, and help those who are (or are considering becoming) a media spokesperson for their Trust. The workshop will be delivered by Mark (Mark Brealey Communications), who has worked with HIS since 2019. During the COVID-19 outbreak Mark prepared a webinar and resources on the topic of using media interviews to fight infection.
Mark has media trained thousands of people at all levels to face newspaper, radio and TV interviews, as well as how to handle the dynamics of social media. Health and the NHS is one of Mark Brealey Communications biggest specialist areas. They prepare spokespeople to face the media on many of the biggest NHS stories to hit the headlines.
After the course each attendee will receive:

- Training certificate
Accreditation will be sought from the Royal College of Pathologists for 3 CPD credits.
