Anne De Bono

Dr Anne de Bono is a Consultant in Occupational Medicine at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust where she led the development of a large multidisciplinary Occupational Health Service.  She was President of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine from 2017 to 2021.  This included the COVID-19 pandemic where she represented the Faculty on a number of national working groups and committees, particularly focusing on protection of healthcare staff and key workers.  She remains on the FOM’s Council as the NHS representative.

Anne has just completed her two-year term as the Independent Clinician Trustee of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges which is the membership body of the UK and Ireland’s 24 medical royal colleges and faculties.  She continues to represent occupational health on several national committees related to infection prevention and control matters.
