Stuart Windsor is Director of Estates and Facilities at University Hospitals Plymouth, having joined the Trust in 2012 after working briefly in Local Government. Stuart first started working in Facilities Management when he joined Serco as the Contract Director for the newly mobilised Hotel Services Contract at Derriford Hospital. Before this Stuart worked at the National Physical Laboratory, the UK’s National Standards Laboratory. For more than 10 years Stuart led large science teams who were responsible for developing the measurement science and technologies that are needed by industry to create products and deliver services. Latterly Stuart also led the Knowledge Transfer team, which were responsible for shaping government and European regulation and trade policy, and embedding the work carried out in NPL into industry to realise economic benefits for the UK.
