Karren Staniforth

Karren Staniforth is a Clinical Scientist, working in Infection Prevention and Control for Nottingham University Hospitals, NHS Trust.

Karren initially trained as a Biomedical Scientist in microbiology before developing her current role: IPC Scientific Lead advising on environmental and engineering aspects of infection prevention and control.

Karren is a trustee and council member for The Healthcare Infection Society and honorary secretary for the Central Sterilising Club.
