Poster Sessions
Some posters will be selected for discussion during designated Poster Sessions. Poster Sessions will take place after the conference programme finishes (around 17:00) on the Monday and Tuesday. Poster Sessions will be grouped by topic however the allocated day will not be known until outcomes are communicated in August 2018. If selected you will be expected to give a 2 minute talk to a small group of delegates and answer any questions.
As a reminder the terms & conditions of submission are:
The abstract must not have been presented at another conference.
If accepted the presenting author must register to attend the conference and will be liable for the applicable full delegate fee.
Last date for submission is Friday 6 July 2018 (Fri 14 Sept 23:59 BST if submitted during late breaker.)
Amendments cannot be made after submission.
Ideally the submitter should be the presenting author. If this is not possible the replacement presenter must be a named author on the original submission.
As the number of oral and poster presentation slots are limited, the judging panel may suggest an abstract is accepted in the alternative presentation format.
If chosen to present a poster or oral paper at conference, the author will be required to make his/her presentation available for posting on the HIS conference website.
The presenting author (as indicated on the submission) will be notified of the decision of the judging panel around the middle of August 2018. (Before Oct 2018 if submitted during late breaker)
The decision of the panel is final.
Poster presenters will be asked to provide a PDF of their posters in advance of conference.
The submitter is responsible for obtaining consent to publish the names of authors/co-authors
Please remember: If accepted for either a poster or oral presentation, the presenting author must register for full conference attendance and will be liable for the applicable full delegate fee. Amendments cannot be made to the content of your abstract after submission.
