Attendance at the workshop is free for HIS and Microbiology Society members, however a refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure a place. This will be refunded after attendance at the event is confirmed.

Once registered, confirmed attendees will be contacted and asked to suggest workshop topics for the afternoon breakout groups – topics discussed in the previous workshop were

• Ways of working
• Preparing a proposal or publication
• Public Patient Involvement and ethical considerations

Ideas for workshop topics should be emailed to admin@his.org.uk 

Confirmed attendees are also invited to participate in delivering a project pitch either as a short oral pitch or as a poster during the lunchtime session. Project pitches will stimulate discussion between attendees and hopefully lead to further discussion and collaboration after the workshop.

Cancellations

Cancellations will be accepted in writing by email to admin@his.org.uk up to 30 days prior to the event and the deposit will be refunded in full. Deposit refunds will not be provided for cancellations less than 30 days prior to the event or for delegates who do not attend on the day.
