40th anniversary celebration

Special celebration event

In 2020 the Society celebrated its 40th anniversary. A special celebration event was planned, which was postponed due to COVID. The event has now been rescheduled, and will take place on 19 May 2022 in London, followed by our Spring Meeting on 20 May 2022. 

This event which will celebrate the achievements of the Society and the JHI, and act as a platform for healthcare and research professionals to engage with experts. The programme includes presentations from speakers who will review the last 40 years, and consider the future challenges of healthcare-associated infections.

Payment

Please note that payment is online by credit or debit card only and places are only secured once full payment is received. Invoices for payment will not be issued for this event.

Cancellation or non-attendance

Cancellations will be accepted in writing by email to admin@his.org.uk up to 14 days prior to the event and the registration fee will be refunded in full. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations less than 14 days prior to the event or for delegates who do not attend on the day.

Certificate of attendance

A Certificate of attendance will be provided after the event for delegates who attend the full day.

Photography and videography

Please note photography and videography taken at this event may be used in future marketing materials by the Healthcare Infection Society. 

CPD and certificate

Accreditation will be sought from the Royal College of Pathologists.

A certificate of attendance will be provided after the event.
