IPIP publishes high-quality research aimed at influencing clinical best practices and reducing the global burden of HCAIs. The journal is particularly focused on challenges in developing countries, with all articles undergoing rigorous peer review.
Editors work closely with the Editor in Chief of IPIP to oversee the review process for IPIP submissions in a timely manner, make recommendations to publish or reject submissions, and participate in setting the editorial direction of the journal. It is an exciting time to join a young journal for the next stage of its growth as this year IPIP received a first impact factor of 1.8.
"We are excited to welcome a new editor who can help us drive IPIP's growth and impact in the global fight against HCAIs," said Gemma Winzor, Editor-in-Chief of IPIP. "Our goal is to publish innovative research and practical insights that can be applied globally. We are looking for a dedicated professional with a passion for infection prevention and control, who can bring diverse perspectives and expertise to our editorial team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of infection prevention research and make a real difference in healthcare worldwide."
