For online member access to the Journal of Hospital Infection, please follow these instructions:

1. Log in to the HIS members' area https://his.org.uk/account/login
2. Visit the 'Membership & JHI' tab on your member dashboard
3. Click 'View JHI in Full'
4. You will now be redirected to the JHI, where you will have full access to the journal, including full text and PDF versions of articles. You do not need to log in or do anything else. Please note that you may be logged out if you remain inactive on the site for a significant period of time, in which case you should return to the Members area of the HIS website to initiate a new session.

You will be logged in as a generic HIS member rather than as an individual. If you wish to personalize your experience (e.g. to save searches or to sign up for table of contents alerts), you will need to undergo a simple free registration process to create an account.

No - go to the url above and click Register at the right of the journal title next to ‘Login’ then follow the instructions below. (You must be logged in before following the below instructions.)

Yes – Follow the instructions as follows;

1. Go to the URL address https://www.journalofhospitalinfection.com/ and log into your account (top right).  If you have forgotten your password it is possible to reset your password via the forgotten password function, this e-mail may be received automatically in your junk folder.
2. Click on Claim Subscription and then check the box ‘I receive my subscription through a society membership’
3. Enter your membership number in the appropriate field along with your last name (as supplied in the membership confirmation email from HIS). If you cannot find your membership number please email membership@his.org.uk.

4. Click on Activate Claim, once activated you will be able to view the online content

   of the journal.
