ECCMID 2022 - opportunity for funding

ECCMID 2022 will take place 23 – 26 April 2022 in Lisbon as a hybrid event. As an Affiliated Society of ESCMID, HIS is entitled to send one ESCMID Young Scientist (maximum 40 years old) to ECCMID 2022, with the costs of registration and a 500 € travel/accommodation allowance covered by ESCMID. Attendees should have an accepted abstract at ECCMID 2022 and must be a Young Scientist Member of ESCMID (1 year of Young Scientist Membership is €45).

To apply for the HIS Affiliated Society place, please email membership@his.org.uk by 09:00 on Monday 14 February with:
1. Your abstract and confirmation of abstract acceptance for ECCMID (or confirmation that you have submitted a late-breaker abstract)
2. A brief expression of interest (max. 350 words) indicating why attendance at ECCMID would benefit you
3. Whether you would like to attend the event in Lisbon in person or virtually

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of February.
