HIS statement on sharing research data and findings relevant to the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak
In line with the Healthcare Infection Society’s objectives to advance knowledge, foster scientific interest and disseminate information about the prevention and control of healthcare-associated infections, and in light of the WHO’s declaration of a public health emergency of international concern in response to the spread of 2019-nCoV to countries around the globe, HIS will make all content related to 2019-nCoV in the Society’s journals freely available as rapidly as possible.
To show our commitment to the open sharing of research and data in public health emergencies, we are pleased to have signed the Wellcome joint statement pledging to work together with Wellcome, the WHO and related organisations globally to help ensure research findings and data relevant to this outbreak are shared rapidly and openly to inform the public health response.
Content will be made available as it is published, and can be found here.
