Infection Prevention in Practice (IPIP) is the gold, open access journal of the Healthcare Infection Society. We have championed infection prevention and control (IPC) in low- and middle-income countries since our launch in 2019, including an article collection with commissioned editorial by authors in Zimbabwe on  IPC in low-resource settings: the need for the local, the contextual and the pragmatic

To coincide with World Antimicrobial Awareness Week 2023 (18-24 November), IPIP is focusing on the challenges of antimicrobial stewardship in low- and middle-income countries. The journal is keen to shine a light on local and regional solutions that have been investigated and implemented to optimise the use of antimicrobials and tackle antimicrobial resistance. Therefore, we are launching a call for papers on these topics; to be submitted by 31 July 2023

For more information on the journal, article types eligible for submission and author instructions, please see the IPIP website here.
